According to reports, Kim Soo Hyun's Knock Off may finally be moving toward release after spending nearly a year in uncertainty. The actor’s legal representative addressed fresh reports suggesting Disney+ is currently reorganising its major content lineup for the first half of 2026, with discussions underway regarding the timing of the series’ broadcast.
His lawyer stated, “According to the broadcasting and securities industries, an article came out today saying that Disney+ is reportedly coordinating the timing of the ‘Knockoff’ broadcast while reorganizing its main content lineup for the first half of 2026. I think it is highly likely to be true.”
Knock Off was originally scheduled for an April 2025 release but was postponed after actor Kim Soo-hyun became embroiled in controversy linked to the late actress Kim Sae-ron. The issue triggered intense public backlash, brand withdrawals, and halted professional activities, ultimately prompting Disney+ to temporarily suspend the series and indefinitely delay filming in April 2025 due to the controversy surrounding their alleged relationship.
