On April 24, we welcomed nine-time #OCHVolunteers @IBM to 395 Parkdale. They painted the lounge a vibrant blue and orange. The Tenant Circle picked out the colours. We think their work is a masterpiece. Le 24 avril, nous avons accueilli les #BénévolesLCO @IBM, pour la neuvième fois, au 395, avenue Parkdale. Ils ont repeint le salon dans des tons vifs de bleu et d’orange. Ces couleurs ont été choisies par le Cercle des locataires. Nous pensons que leur travail est un chef-d’œuvre.

Le 7 mai, le conseil d'administration de LCO a rendu hommage à Stephen Sauppe, un représentant dévoué des locataires qui a pris sa retraite en février. Stephen a donné aux locataires les moyens d'agir grâce à La Voix des Locataires, a apporté ses conseils sur les soins complexes et a encadré ses pairs, laissant ainsi une empreinte durable. Merci, Stephen !

On May 7, the OCH Board bid farewell to Stephen Sauppe, a dedicated tenant representative who retired in February. Stephen empowered tenants through Tenant Talks, advised on Complex Care, and mentored peers — leaving a lasting impact. Thank you, Stephen!

En avril, deux groupes de #BénévolesLCO sont revenus peindre les couloirs et les aires communes de l’immeuble pour aînés situé au 31, avenue McEwen. Merci @CitImmCanFR et @amazonca Leur travail a égayé les lieux et a vraiment amélioré les choses pour les résidents.

In April, two groups of #OCHVolunteers returned to paint hallways and common areas at the 31 McEwen seniors building. Thanks @CitImmCanada and @amazonca. Their work brightened the space and made a real difference for residents.

We are saying yes to housing in Ottawa. That means yes to more affordable homes, and yes to working with all levels of government and community partners to get projects built. @OCH_LCO has a new project in Heatherington, with 90 new affordable rental homes coming to this site as part of a strong #TeamOttawa. Thank you to Councillors @Jessica_Ottawa and @tm_kavanagh, and MPP @GeorgesDarouze, for being there and supporting this important work. Nous disons oui au logement à Ottawa. Cela veut dire oui à plus de logements abordables, et oui à travailler avec tous les ordres de gouvernement et nos partenaires communautaires pour concrétiser les projets. À Heatherington, la Société de logement communautaire d’Ottawa fait avancer un nouveau projet qui ajoutera 90 nouveaux logements locatifs abordables à la communauté, dans le cadre d’une approche #ÉquipedOttawa solide.
