Racial equity means clean water & housing regardless of your background or income. These issues are real. Enough is enough. If farmworkers are truly essential then committing to clean water & housing shouldn’t be too difficult. This is how we heal & turn promises into actions.

Another way transparency and accountability are easy. Communicate with residents. Seek input. Value their input by incorporating it into the project/policy you sought input out in the first place. Then report back to community on your findings. This builds trust. We need this.

Today, and everyday. Remember anyone should be able to run for public office. Our democracy cannot function with uncontested races and chosen leadership. We’re running because we’re taking our democracy back. People power will prevail. Just wait and see. #CoachellaPolitics
