@gray_charles1 @1517mmMark @NormanBrennan When I was going through my case I constantly wondered if they really were that incompetent or are you just ignoring all the evidence and lying all the time . I was very confused by Police Scotlands leaders behaviour.

Folks in past 4 Months I’ve seen about TEN Serving Police officers sacked for what I’d describe as BOLLOX things that in my era would be a grab by👂& a kick up the arse; One called Travellers a Pikey! Sackable? Are we Fucking Serious? Good officers being thrown under the bus👇🤷‍♂️

Folks a week ago I posted that an Ex police officer had committed suicide; it wasn’t public so I could give No further details; it was a colleague of his who contacted me; an Ex outstanding GMP Insp jumped from a 100ft Bridge; his crime? He WhatsApp a mate about a female officer; Sackable? in My Opinion? NO! He resigned as he knew what was coming & now? He’s DEAD by SUICIDE! RIP Brother🤦‍♂️🙏

But the PSDs seem to be run by female clerical staff with little or no experience of real policing. They don’t seem to think that the truth or any kind of integrity is a fundamental requirement. I have a case on my books for legal action where the clerical staff have been completely dishonest and their own paper trail proves they are corrupted.

@gray_charles1 @1517mmMark @NormanBrennan That’s very sad . My experience was that no one could do their jobs properly and they lied and bullied. PSD HR and everyone involved in my case from Sgt to the DCC. It is quite bizarre that they just blag and nothing is evidenced it’s all just made up lies to suit their narrative

@gray_charles1 @1517mmMark @NormanBrennan In my service the only contact in their processes with PSD I had was when I took my greivance out and they didn’t take my case . Then I won it for victimisation . PSD should have taken it and investigated it . But I also have colleagues that have experienced a witch hunt .

@1517mmMark @NormanBrennan @ochwheeshtyou If you take the example of Lincolnshire police who as far as I know are still in special measures. They blame underfunding for their failure. Unfortunately they are forced to abuse crime victims because of lack of money.

@1517mmMark @NormanBrennan @ochwheeshtyou I dealt with three professional standards departments from different areas of the country and they were just different shades of utter disgrace. They lie as a matter of course and are abusing victims of crime. Thank goodness for FOI.

The law does not protect anyone. Police officers can not do their jobs because of management failures and corrupt professional standards. The court system is just the new Wild West. You cannot find a solicitor with the will to fight for a client, they are just interested in money.

@1517mmMark @gray_charles1 @NormanBrennan I think the difficulty now is that evidence is not the basis of investigations it’s bias and stereotyping . I also think there is complete incompetence & lack of experience in investigating. Not accross the board but they don’t seem able to carry out fair enquiry now 🤷‍♀️

@NormanBrennan @ochwheeshtyou The police officers need better management and the abolishment of professional standards departments.

I lost my boy a couple of weeks ago. He was only 2 but had been ill for a wee while. He was such fun despite his ailments. When I close my eyes I still see him. I miss his loyalty and love.

Heartbroken is an understatement. I started speaking to Jon in May 2025, and we stayed in regular contact ever since. He reached out because he was facing the uncertainty of leaving the police after securing another job - the fear of stepping into the unknown. And then there was the misconduct hearing. Jon expressed concerns how he was being purposely discredited and misquoted. This was clear when he shared some of the disclosure prior to the misconduct hearing. Clearly, taking a person’s career isn’t enough. In my view, the Violence Against Women and Girls agenda, alongside the College of Policing’s Code of Ethics, is being weaponised against officers. Policing is not only hitting the self-destruct button time and time again, but continues to play ‘God’ with current and former officers’ lives and their families. They continue to erode public trust in policing and are contributing to officers feeling so trapped that they are taking their own lives. They also wonder why they struggle to retain officers in what used to be a ‘Job for life’. How do we get those in positions of power to actually listen and change this? How can they return home to their own families in good conscience, knowing their actions (or lack of them) may have contributed to another death within the police family? This has got to stop. My thoughts are with Jon’s family and friends. Paul. #Echobox=1775821815" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-m…

Your very regular reminder that the organisation is now more detrimental to an officers' wellbeing (moral injury forourmen.com/what-is-moral-…) than their jobs & it's getting worse. How the Government & media treat them also causes 'low morale'. policeoracle.com/article-librar…

I'm all for holding corrupt cops accountable, but former Greater Manchester Police (UK) inspector Jonathan Ezard died after jumping from Barton Bridge on the M60. He had resigned from the force during a misconduct case after sharing publicly available social media photos of a female colleague and commenting on her appearance in messages to another officer. By all accounts, personal cell phones and off duty. He admitted the comments were "inappropriate" but disputed they amounted to "gross misconduct." The panel said he likely would have been dismissed and placed him on the policing barred list, ending his career. But his appeal was never heard. In other words they refused to hear any form of appeal. And appeals matter because they ensure decisions are reviewed for fairness, errors, and proportionality before someone’s career or life is permanently damaged. I’m all for holding officers accountable for misconduct, but we also have to ask: was this truly a dismissible offence that justified destroying a man’s career, and ultimately a life? Somewhere between accountability and institutional overreach, could we be losing good cops that could be receptive to further training and education? Thoughts?
