Congrats to Malachi Jean, Aden Foster, & Dwayne Butler for bringing home 1st place in the National Leadership & Skills Competition for MS Chapter Display. This was Orangeburg’s 1st time having a middle school team compete. They made history, winning the 1st national gold medal.🏆

Cohort 5 loading… Yesterday I had the honor of welcoming 29 outstanding students into the Orangeburg Advanced College program. They're on track to graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate degree! @ocsdsc

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Shawn Foster (@fosteringocsd) of @ocsdsc is the 2026 South Carolina Superintendent of the Year! Dr. Foster led his district to historic academic gains. For the first time, students in his district demonstrated growth in all tested subjects.

Congratulations to our talented students! 🎉 Armanie Francis from Elloree Elementary took home 1st place, Zionna Carmon from Dover Elementary secured 2nd place, and Kiah Gathers from St. James-Gaillard Elementary earned 3rd place in this year's MLK Jr. Oratory Competition.
