Woke up to news that @jpgstoreNFT is shutting down. Hit different than I expected. Back in 2022, I dove deep into Cardano NFTs. Bought all kinds of projects. Most are either hype or rugs. Now the remaining few are just sitting there collecting digital dust. Personally their real value isn't the floor price or the roadmap promises. It's the experience. The lessons. The reminder that you were there, you participated, you made some smart moves and some really dumb ones. These JPEGs are basically expensive receipts from my education in crypto markets. The market is brutal like that. A narrative can burn hot for months, maybe even carry some through a full cycle. But eventually the music stops. I believe some founders start with good intentions, but intentions don't pay costs. Will NFTs come back? I don't know and honestly I'm tired of predicting. What I do know is this: strip away all the speculation and get rich quick nonsense, and what you're left with is the stuff you actually connected with. The pieces that meant something beyond the mint price. Your wallet tells the story of what you valued when the hype was loudest. Thanks to everyone who built and tried. Hope whatever's next treats you better.
