@Probiote The problem we face in British Columbia is we are limited to a maximum of $250,000 that can be raised through crowdfunding. Unfortunately that amount doesn't get us too far clinical trials-wise.

@deniz71561669 @ocumetics @RealtorCCC I understand that in many countries there is a "fast track applications" when comes to break through technology's , so you are not going to go for a fast track application for marketing authorization?

@ocumetics @RealtorCCC So it will most likely take 5 years from this date for it to be available to the public ?

@ocumetics @RealtorCCC @cedavidson And I hope he's wrong at his comment but he said it's a huge industry in this field and that won't let this happen because it makes that industry fail because no one is going to buy glasses anymore after this approval.

My eye doctor said it will never happen

@RealtorCCC @SarvjotL @cedavidson We are still at least two years away from doing the clinical trials in Canada and the United States. There are several other countries where the clinical trials will happen first, largely because of the time it takes for regulatory approval in those jurisdictions.

@MMasyh @AIFind We have been stuck in neutral for a while, waiting to line up the necessary funding to proceed with the clinical trials. It has been frustratingly elusive.

@ocumetics @AIFind I have been following Bionic lenses since 2015, could you give some updates on how human trials are going on? And is there a reason why you do not update ocumetrics website? There is absolutely no reliable source of information on it's progress.

@ocumetics So are you trying to say $$$$ funding is holding the clinical trials & final approval decision for public usage at this moment?

@SarvjotL @cedavidson The doctors heading up the clinical trials. We average about 1,000 requests per day to be part of the clinical trials studies.
