@JaFureal621202 @Chlorine521082 So… does that mean it’s okay to call him Creole? Or should I call him Haitian?
Thank you for explaining the history to me.
English

@Chlorine521082 @odd7531 With due respect--Alastor is "Louisiana Creole" defined as a person who was/descended from non-English speaking settlements before the Louisiana Purchase who retained their language & customs. That includes BOTH Haitian Blacks & French Canadian Whites. Alastor is mixed-race.

@odd7531 🥺🫂 please take care... Spend time with her and let her have some happiness these days!
English

@zionslighthalo Thank you for the kind words…🥹 It’s been really hard, so I didn’t think anyone would care much, but it means a lot and gives me strength.
English

@DeadlightDAWN It seems like people are into Alastor as a character, no matter his race lol. Thanks for understanding my perspective too!
English

@odd7531 No no it’s ok tbh I don’t even think a lot of ppl even knew alastor was even going to be mid in the official series considering al was one of her oldest OCs I actually found out he was creole during the middle of season one bc of fans
English

@DeadlightDAWN Oh, I didn’t know that at all! I should probably pay more attention to the creators’ tweets too 😅 Even if I love the series, language differences make it easy to miss info like this. Thank you for letting me know!
English

@odd7531 Bc in season it was a mistake they made said by vivzi that the color palette made him washed in season one and Alastor tho a mix man is still black ppl have have noticed how they not only lighten his skin to the point of being a white man but also change his hair to
English

@zocheeze_itz What I meant is that, at least after seeing Alastor’s human form in Season 2 (within his human form), I don’t think Asian artists would still be mistakenly drawing him lighter🥺
English

@zocheeze_itz Humans are all the same, and especially within Asians, I can understand how painful colorism must have been. I’m sorry if my tweet didn’t fully consider what you’ve experienced. But I just saw tweets singling out Asian artists, and that honestly hurt me too.
