@QuantumCamper Look at this, my friend. This new "Rivalries" system in Fortnite has only exposed how broken the matchmaking is. How does someone with 90 points end up in a match with players who have over 800? That's not balancing, it's a mess. Casual players are just getting frustrated.

Have you stopped playing Fortnite as much due to the persistent skill based match making issue? Have you completely stopped playing specifically because of SBMM? Please be respectful and don't lash out at Fortnite, Epic Games or any players or staff with your comment. I want to have a real discussion and hear real constructive feedback @Fortnite @FortniteStatus @JustTeddii PLEASE we need you to respond to the overwhelming outcry from the community about SBMM. It has felt non-existent since the bug season in chapter 6. It felt perfect in Chapter 5. What happened? A LOT of people are playing less or have given up the game completely because they will literally go hundreds of games without being able to get a victory. We the common player want a challenge but also we want to feel like we have a chance. Yes this is a skill issue. I am not good enough to be in the vast majority of lobbies I am put in with Fortnite. I love this game and it breaks my heart to see people leave because of something that could be easily fixed. I look forward to hearing your response.

There’s absolutely no logic to it. This Fortnite matchmaking system is ridiculous. There’s zero balance. We’re being thrown against players way above our skill level, making the game completely unplayable. Casual players are just getting frustrated. Do something PLEASE! #Fortnite

@JustTeddii Quality of life? The only thing we’ve been begging for since last season is more accessible lobbies, @JustTeddii. Begging! This matchmaking system isn’t fair for casual play with friends or family. One skilled player shifts the whole lobby and ruins the experience. Please!

Yeah this is one of the many smaller Quality of Life updates that have gone in to Season 2 to reduce friction and improve the overall fluidity of the game. Happy to see it’s getting noticed, and we have more to come! Please do hit me with what kind of QoL’s you’d like to see in the future, too! 🤝

@JustTeddii @CouRageJD I want to stand with those who hope and plead for an honest and transparent matchmaking process. Almost 9 years of this incredible experience being thrown away because of a simple detail and a lack of communication.

@FortniteStatus Take this opportunity to adjust its balance as well. So many dedicated players are asking for help with this issue, as they can't enjoy the game with their friends and children because they're facing extremely unbalanced lobbies. Please, @FortniteStatus.

I’m going to go ahead and say how I feel. This is just my personal opinion but from what I have seen, I feel the Fortnite team have made a season where, on reflection, Season 2 will be considered a top 5 of *ALL TIME* contender when it’s over. Bookmark this! 🤝 🔖

It's been great reading through the feedback on Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 and seeing comments like, "this could be peak if there was more movement...", all while knowing players are about to unlock Power Gloves that can launch you, and upper cut an enemy, 50 feet into the air - and a Rift Rifle that can create a Rift to rotate through!

@FireMonkey @SpushFNBR An entire season with extremely unbalanced lobbies. The expectation was that this new season would improve that, taking into account casual players who enjoy playing with their families, but unfortunately it’s the same or even worse.

There's been a lot of reports of bot lobbies no longer working (brought to my attention VIA @SpushFNBR) (Speculation): This is most likely due to people being able to farm rivalry wins VIA bots in bot lobbies, and physical prizes like GPUs being on the line for having a high score weekly.

@Fortnite A new system of honest and balanced lobbies for the next season? Or an adjustment to the V-Bucks values so that the community remains united in supporting the game?
