.@BMWMotorrad has announced the M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT, a collector-focused special model limited to just 115 units, matching the 115th running of the Isle of Man TT in 2026. -- It is based on the existing M 1000 RR M Competition package and comes with a British Racing Green Uni Matt paint finish, TT Mountain Course graphics split across both fairing sides (left-hand turns on the left, right-hand turns on the right), a black Alcantara seat, and a carbon airbox cover with TT course mapping and logo. -- Each bike gets a milled sequential number on the top yoke, a certificate of authenticity, a black swingarm, rear workstand, assembly stand mounting, and even a branded M motorcycle mat. Petrol and diesel prices in India have been increased once again, marking the fourth fuel price hike in just 11 days. Petrol prices were raised by ₹2.61 per litre, while diesel saw a hike of ₹2.71 per litre. Indian market for the first time! The ZR-V will be @HondaCarIndia ’s new flagship SUV here and will be sold as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). Bookings have already opened across dealerships, while deliveries are scheduled to begin from July 2026. The SUV comes with Honda’s 2.0-litre e:HEV strong hybrid powertrain paired with an e-CVT gearbox, producing 184PS and 315Nm. Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 22.79km/l. India's Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has notified fuel specifications for four new ethanol-petrol blends, E22, E25, E27, and E30, through a notification dated May 15, 2026. This means the country now has a recognised technical standard that defines how these higher ethanol-petrol fuel mixtures should be prepared for use in regular petrol-powered vehicles -- Now, what exactly are these blends? The number after the "E" simply tells you how much ethanol is mixed into the petrol. E22 means 22% ethanol and 78% petrol, E25 is 25% ethanol and 75% petrol, E27 is 27% ethanol and 73% petrol, and E30 is 30% ethanol mixed with 70% petrol. The ethanol used here is anhydrous ethanol, a purer water-free form of alcohol mostly produced from sugarcane in India. Currently, India had already crossed 18% ethanol blending nationally this year and had been selling E20 fuel at select pumps since 2023, with automakers rolling out E20-compatible vehicles alongside. -- What this means going forward is that automakers will now need to develop vehicles that can run on higher ethanol blends, and oil marketing companies will need to build the supply infrastructure to match. For consumers, higher ethanol blends could eventually mean slightly lower fuel costs since ethanol is cheaper than petrol, but your vehicle needs to be compatible to run on these blends safely.
