At the impromptu budget conference between Mayor Avula’s administration and City Council, there’s currently no seating for press. We’ve been told by CAO Odie Donald II that we cannot put microphones on the tables because there could be “private conversation” between attendees.

If you don’t have a place at each council seat, why would it be here? A central location is actually where it is in chambers. Same here.
