Everyone ragging on #indycar obviously has absolutely zero clue what it takes to put on an event, let alone an event mostly dictated by a television window. There are so many moving parts it would make your head spin. The entitlement is nauseating.

That being said, I met a father/daughter duo at Bucees (they were wearing Pato jerseys) who went to their first race together. They decided to drive the couple of hours for $10 tickets today & said they had a great time.

Been driving & have seen a lot of "well at least indycar tried. people should plan better". Trying & succeeding are two different things. & people who spend their money on such things are allowed to be upset when things are not handled properly.

I feel for the teams & the fans today &hope everyone stays hydrated, cool & safe. I'm sure it'll be a thriller oval race. looking forward to watching/listening on my drive. also hoping there is knowledge gained from this weekend & people work to make it better for next year.

@jshbutcher Appreciate your insight Josh! Figured it was a logistic issue with limiting/getting the event in. Communication seems to be inconsistent on what is allowed & what's not.

@offey_on_track Single event credentials work as usual. While I can't speak for the track, there is significantly less people (inc. police) here to manage everything. We're doing our best to get the show in.

Hearing that they are allowing SOME paddock & pit passes in. Have not confirmed which are being turned away & which are being allowed through.

The Nashville horrors continue for fans. INDYCAR nation things have been cancelled & no garage/pit access to people who bought garage & pit passes. I get it from a working standpoint, but feels like we can find a common ground with people who spent good money on experiences.
