Bilal Arif Salafi is dead — reportedly shot by a woman in Pakistan. Another name from the terror ecosystem wiped out. But he wasn’t just a man, it was a mindset that thrived on pushing young minds into violence, sending them across to spill innocent blood in Kashmir while sitting safely behind the scenes.
For years, people like him built networks, radicalised youth, & treated Kashmiri lives as expendable for their agenda. Families here have buried their sons because of such recruiters — sons who could have had a future, but were turned into tools.
And today, the same cycle of violence has come back to him. This is how these stories end — not in glory, not in victory, but in isolation & bloodshed. The system they create doesn’t protect them, it consumes them.
Kashmir has suffered enough because of such elements. One less recruiter won’t heal everything, but it’s a reminder: those who profit from violence eventually fall to it.

For the past few weeks, there was a full propaganda push saying Kashmir authorities are “violating human rights” by stopping Shia processions.
But what actually happened on ground? In Budgam, Baramulla, Srinagar thousands of Shia mourners came out, took juloos, mourned for Iran, even protested peacefully. Nothing was stopped. The only line was violence — which no country allows anyway.
Now look at Pakistan. Suddenly the tone changes. Meetings happening, warnings being given to Shia clerics to stay in line if it’s about Iran. Message is clear — don’t cross what the state wants.
End of the day, every country talks about “national interest.” The difference is simple — one allows people to express till it’s peaceful, the other starts drawing lines when it feels uncomfortable.
That whole Kashmir “human rights” narrative? Doesn’t really hold when you see the full picture.

While families here in Kashmir were observing the sanctity of the holy month, Jaish-e-Mohammed was busy building a war chest. We’re seeing reports that JeM raked in over PKR 20 Crore this season alone.
But let’s be clear: this isn’t "charity."
While other groups like LeT were busy with PR stunts—spending on Iftaars and district publicity—JeM had a singular, cold-blooded focus: Cash. They’ve turned a sacred pillar of faith into a mandatory "Terror Tax," forcing their own cadre to fund a machinery designed for one thing: keeping the cycle of violence alive in our valley (Kashmir).
When Zakat is extorted to buy bullets and IEDs instead of feeding the hungry, the mask is off. This is a direct investment in the bloodshed of our people.

The situation unfolding in the Middle East is truly heartbreaking. As a Shia Muslim, I deeply understand the pain and emotions people are experiencing. However, mourning and creating disturbances in the Valley are two entirely different things.
I have seen several videos of clashes with security forces, and such actions are completely unacceptable and against the true teachings of Islam. Violence is never the path of the Ahlulbayt (AS).
I sincerely request the youth of the Shia community to reflect and act responsibly. Mourning should be observed in Imam Bargahs and mosques. Organize majlis gatherings, offer prayers, and express grief in a peaceful and dignified manner. Please do not fall into anyone’s propaganda or take to the streets in ways that create unrest.

Vocational Education was introduced in J&K schools in 2015 as a structured 4-year (Class 9–12) NSQF-aligned program under Samagra Shiksha Jammu and Kashmir @JKSamagra
The first batch completed the course in 2019. However, vocational certification for students across batches remains pending. The absence of formal certification has directly impacted students’ employment prospects and skill recognition.
Given the importance of skill certification for employment and higher opportunities, clarity on assessment records, certification status, and timelines is essential.
I respectfully request @OfficeOfLGJandK @CM_JnK @OmarAbdullah @sakinaitoo to review the matter and ensure early issuance of pending certificates. @parawahid

I received this letter from the wife of an Indian Army officer who lost his leg in a terrorist encounter in Kashmir when he was posted at the front lines with the Rashtriya Rifles They had been married four years. Their daughter was two. He survived eight surgeries. Forty blood transfusions. Months in hospital. A rare autoimmune disorder triggered by trauma. He could have been boarded out. He chose to continue serving — on a prosthetic limb. Now, under the Finance Bill 2026 proposal, his disability pension will be taxed because he completed his tenure instead of being invalided out. His wife asks a question that deserves to be heard: Does a war injury become less of a sacrifice because a soldier refuses to quit? “A disability pension is not income,” she writes. “It is compensation for a lifelong limitation.” This is not just about taxation. It is about dignity. About the moral contract between a soldier and the nation. Can resilience become a reason to penalise sacrifice? This soldier’s wife had a request - to share this letter far and wide . Please do. So that more voices urge a review of a decision that taxes our war wounded if they continue to serve . 💔
