Brilliant product at a really good price, hats off to Renault. That Mercedes-grade Turbo engine for under ₹15 lakhs on road is insanely good, won't be surprised if it beats Kushaq/Taigun for enthusiasts & normies too. Now, let's just hope most Indian buyers think the same way.

Driving the @RenaultIndia Duster later this week and the French carmaker is showing their seriousness with some very attractive pricing for the third-gen Duster which has been 'made for India'; they claim that 40% of bookings in major metros are for the 'E-Tech' Strong Hybrid which is yet to be launched and the allocation for the Hybrid is already sold out for 2026 - this adds to my belief that for better of for worse, Hybrids will grow in India especially given global issues currently. Only miss in terms of offering at the start in my opinion is an automatic option for the smaller engine option TCe 100. And while demand is skewed towards the more powerful variant, I suspect that will start to balance out in a few months although the 163PS motor is very\, very good! Bookings made through R-Pass, which is Renault's app offer a 20-40K discount until March 31.

@volklub I think pricing is okay for the equipment on offer.

I urged Duster 160 ps engine to be priced at around 12.80 lakh while being over optimistic and it is priced at 12.99 lakh today! This Engine is a masterpiece and it is great to see such pricing by Renault. They have set the bar too high now. Lovely time to be a potential customer in 2026. Excellent safety kit, powerful engine & top looks👌

@volklub DCT is highly priced 13.99L, when we add RTA tax + insurance +Accessories it's gonna be 17 lakhs for a base model features not worthy 👎 @RenaultIndia disappointed.

@drdk07 @volklub You will be mostly safe. As the car will spend lot of time at workshops for lack of parts and mechanics having no knowledge of fault
