This afternoon, I visited my brother and compatriot, former Governor of Rivers State and ex-Minister of Transportation, Chief Rotimi Amaechi, at his Abuja residence. I also felicitated with him on the occasion of his birthday yesterday and teased that Arsenal’s historic triumph could not have arrived at a better time. Chief Amaechi, a thoroughly well-loaded Gunner, took the banter in very good spirits. In true Rivers hospitality, he apologised for not having enough time to prepare Fisherman Soup, a delicacy I have now been promised on our return for the second leg 😃. -AA

My husband still regrets coming back to Nigeria 2019 to visit his family, He was kidnapped that same year, was later released after paying huge amount of ransom which affected his traveling back , When we think, things are getting better again for him to go back, His elder brother was kidnapped,ransom was demanded , Hubby sold all his resources and assets just for his released because his four kids was still very young and the wife, But even after the ransom was paid, he was still killed, no body to retrieve, At the same time, hubby lost everything to them,and was also in so much debit which has been cleared by God's grace Instead of staying without anything, he decided to borrowed little money and get second hand Keke which he is managing now but has been in a bad shape since last week So to the f@@l that was calling me an Igbo beggar just because I committed on a giveaway, may Nigeria happen to u too This was my husband before Nigeria happened to him and now 🙏🙏🙏

My friend lost his wife this afternoon around noon. We took the wife to the hospital together because he had to sit with her at the back while I drove them to the hospital. She was energetic even joking with her husband that he was too afraid,the ride to the hospital was fun because I was enjoying the conversations. While we were in the hospital,they rushed her into the labour room and suddenly we started hearing she was having difficulty giving birth and that they would need at least 4 pints of blood. We got the amount of blood that was needed,as at that time my friend had already spent over 3million naira on bills and other things in the hospital, because the hospital is one of the best in Abuja. We were outside waiting for the good news when the doctor came and met me and my friend telling us they tried everything but she died. My friend almost fainted, I was holding him,then I asked the doctor what about the baby,he said the baby is alive but in the incubator. This was how we lost a very energetic,playful and lively lady. My friend has not said a word up till this moment I'm typing this. We all are just here for him,none of us knows what to even say to him. Right now we are just here for him. May God keep protecting our women during child birth.
