山形県立新庄病院腫瘍内科 鈴木 修平 先生より、2026年5月29日～6月2日にシカゴで開催されたASCO第2回学術集会でのご発表等に関してレポートをいただきました⢀⢀⢀⢀⢄⠜⡱⢄⢄✧
昨年に引き続き、2回目のASCO発表者のためのトラベルグラントの採択をいただき本当にありがとうございました。今年のASCOでは2演題で御縁をいただき、胃癌におけるゾルベツキシマブとCDH1の関係をマルチモーダルに検討した内容（Multi-modal molecular profiling of CDH1 and CLDN18.2 to identify predictive biomarkers for zolbetuximab efficacy in patients with advanced gastric adenocarcinoma: ZOL-C3 study）と、マイクロサテライト不安定性など日常臨床で行われる検査で遺伝性腫瘍に関する検査を扱う医療スタッフの心理的負担についての内容（Psychological Burden and Burnout Among Regional Healthcare Providers Communicating Hereditary Tumor Findings）の報告を行いました。写真の１枚は、アメリカの先生と議論しているところをたまたま、以前の担当MRさんが見かけて撮影してくれたものです。今年は、阿部先生方のお声がけで、グラント採択者でシカゴにて集まりをもつことができ、世界中で頑張っている先生方とかけがえのない時間を楽しく過ごすことができ、視野の拡がりやモチベーションに繋がりました。また、個人としては昨年同様LGBTQI+ community of practiceにも参加し、幅広い意見に触れることができました。JSCOでも性的多様性尊重の視点で癌診療についての検討やAlly交流の場を設けることができると良いと思いました。ワンオペ育児、一人科長、かつ町内会の班長という身で2年連続1週間も日本を離れ、周囲へ多くの負担をかけての参加となりました。御高配へ陳謝いたします。

I am Shuhei Suzuki, oncologist at Yamagata Prefectural Shinjo Hospital. I am grateful to have received the JSCO Travel Grant for ASCO presenters for two consecutive years, and presented two posters at ASCO: one on the relationship between zolbetuximab and CDH1, and another on hereditary tumors and communication skills training. Thank you sincerely for this opportunity. As the sole department head and a single-handed caregiver at home, I was only able to attend two years in a row thanks to the generous support of my hospital colleagues and family — I am deeply grateful. The grant recipients gathered for drinks together, which broadened my perspective and renewed my motivation. Meeting the other awardees was a great inspiration, and I am motivated to keep moving forward.
