The Sabres have gotten uncharacteristically bad play from their top players this entire series. You combine that with a lack of composure, poor goaltending and a highly skilled offensive opponent that can take advantage of mistakes and this is the result.

@ByMHarrington tbh, I’d rather lose there than come back of the inevitable Game 7 loss. This team doesn’t play well in front of their fans, for whatever reason. And it showed again tonight. The score would indicate Montreal bodied us. The truth is? We bodied ourselves.

I would not have believed #Sabres would go 2-4 at home in the playoffs. They're going to have to win again in Bell Centre or this is the last time we see them this season in KeyBank Center, which would be a sad way to finish a great season here.

How many players this series would you say have played well for the Sabres? Benson, Doan, Samuelsson, and Power? Am I forgetting anyone? If they lose, it’s pretty easy to see why. That list needs to be much longer against a team as talented as the Canadiens.
