#BREAKING Abthar Bassam Talib Al-Athmany, 19, is a newly arrived Iraqi refugee living in Australia.
In August, he raped a 15-year-old Aussie girl at knifepoint with an accomplice. He filmed it and then did the same thing to a 2nd girl.
Justice Richard Button has unbelievably decided to allow Al-Athmany back onto the streets after his father sent a letter explaining that his son is really a “kind family-oriented man” and the victim of bullying.
His bail was just $30,000 total.

@RalphyHeraldSun @bjt0080 Have you followed up their response, or will it disappear under the carpet

The vanishing 30 seconds in the St Kilda Giants game in a weekend of timekeeping confusion. Where did it go? Hall kicks the goal with 33 seconds left, time goes to double zeroes, the half time siren sounds immediately at the next centre bounce 👇heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/30-s…

Brad Scott on his message to Essendon fans after THAT loss.
“I have said this for three years, I am never going to tell Essendon fans to be patient. I reckon 25 years is long enough to hear the same message but if I am an Essendon fan I watch the character of these players and particularly the younger players who will make them proud one day. As frustrating as it is, good clubs stick together. You can give up or you can fight. I believe in these guys and think they are made of the right stuff.” @FOXFOOTY

@RalphyHeraldSun Scott is a toxic coach who alienates players and creates a horrific work culture

@CherylCritchley AFL are like the Labor government... Lies, lies, lies, deny, deny, deny, gaslight, gaslight, gaslight.... All under control of management incompetency.

AFL Fans Association president Ron Issko wants the #AFL to produce the data upon which it based its claim that the fan preference split for day/twilight/night grand finals is 30/30/30, when most other surveys have 70%+ wanting a day game.

@Mr_Husky1 He’s going to remember that spanking and always hate you. Way to go. Don’t watch them again if you don’t have any patience. Motherfucker

My sister asked if I could take her kids out for a little while so she could get a break. No big deal. Five minutes into the outing they start begging for food, so I grabbed them a pizza and told them we’d eat it when we got back to the house instead of making a mess outside.
The second we stepped away from the counter my nephew started acting like the rule didn’t apply to him. Reaching for slices, whining about being hungry, dragging his feet like he was being starved. I told him to relax and wait until we got to the car.
Instead of waiting two minutes like a normal person, he starts throwing a full meltdown in the middle of the walkway. Next thing I know the entire pizza ends up on the ground. Box flipped open, slices sliding everywhere, sauce all over the pavement like it was some kind of food explosion.
And then he starts crying like he’s the one who got wronged… after he’s the one who just launched dinner onto the sidewalk.
Yeah, I lost my patience and popped his butt for acting like that in public. Apparently that’s the real problem though because my sister calls me later furious saying I “crossed a line.”
I’m sorry, but if I’m the one buying the food and dealing with the tantrum in front of everyone, I’m not going to pretend it’s adorable when a kid throws an entire meal on the ground because he couldn’t wait two minutes. Actions have consequences, and apparently that lesson upset more people than the meltdown did.

@Mr_Husky1 The pizza on the ground isn’t the real issue. Kids have meltdowns — that’s normal development. Hitting a child that isn’t yours because you lost patience isn’t discipline, it’s an adult failing to regulate themselves.

Angus Taylor roasted by journalist over his recent call for govt to use ADF fuel tankers to supply regional areas.
Taylor first claims to be misquoted, then refuses to say that he even agrees with the idea (his idea).🤦♂️
Journalist: “You’re not answering the question.” 🔥 #auspol

whilst Nas was off we kicked 3-4 behinds. When he came back on, he kicked his own behind. he's a great player but its insanity to think that he was the one reason St Kilda lost
Rohan Connolly@rohan_connolly
The question obviously being asked was: ''Why did you leave him on the bench for six minutes late in the game with the result still on the line?" Still none the wiser after this response tbh. 🤷♂️#AFLDeesSaints
