Woah! I just realized that if you select widescreen on any of the N64 games that support it, Switch’s N64 NSO app actually scales the game up to fill the whole screen rather than confining it to the 4:3 window! That’s very cool!!

The port is being developed via a group on Discord. It fully supports keyboard and mouse gameplay and launches directly rather than needing an emulator. I will update with details about its release as I get them. Small gameplay snippet below 👇 [ 🎥 / @mvealng ]

Let’s use this post as an opportunity to let @IronGalaxy know of any bugs in the BO1 + BO2 ports that need fixing!👇 So far we’ve noticed: • Partying in BO1 is bugged and you’ll often get assigned to different teams • Lobbies in BO2 don’t fill out if anyone leaves, could be related to owning DLC? • Equipped camos on BO2 sometimes don’t spawn in • Hit detection/netcode feels really rough and there appears to be an input delay that’s most noticeable in BO1 Drop anything below that you’ve noticed!

@jumper32X @HappyMantShrimp Theres a ton of great rail shooters. the thing is on the Wii the lesser hardware was utilzied to make unique games, like the amazing NFS Nitro or Ghost Recon Wii. Even Thor on Wii was a unique amazing experience. now we just get watered down ports on Switch for the most part

@offlinebots @HappyMantShrimp Everyone seems to focus on the Shovelware on the Wii, but it had some of the best third party support that generation, not even including first party stuff. There's also the two Resident Evil light gun games, as well as the Dead Space light gun game.

It has no offline bot support So yes it's pre-patch. Bots were added in this patch

Looks like BO1 PS ports use the older pre-patch version of BO1... can anyone confirm whether the 74u shreds on PS4/PS5? B/c before they nerfed it, the AK74U was meta. Post-nerf it isn't worth using tbh. Famas also got nerfed after release but even post-nerf is still best in game.
