@SITOSHI13 Our app is open source and the claim after 2029 can be made “offline” (our servers aren’t involved) So grab a copy of our github app repo on a thumb drive for your grandkids and you should be set.

@offlinecashco question about Bitcoin notes I picked up from your booth at #bitcoin2025 and just wanted to be clear : If I put 0.001 Bitcoin on the “ 1 ” bank note and created a key ( lets say ABCD1234 ) 1) from what I understand in your instructions there’s 2 ways to redeem it A) Before the claim date : … recipient cut-tear note and we CONTACT you so that you give the key ? —- correct ? B) After the claim date : … Bitcoin/ sats are accessible with the personal key created at time “ ABCD1234” … correct ? So in theory the only way to retrieve the sats is via your app ??? Now what if we go past the claim date here , let’s say 2070 my grandkids try and retrieve it . They’ll need your app to retrieve it ? How will that look deep down the line — Kindly advise & thanks

@dddloiola It’s possible that your network is blocking connectivity. That error is most likely because you removed your phone from the note too soon. Place the note flat on a table and put your phone on top, the camera near the chip, then tap scan.

@offlinecashco iPhone 13… The app and the phone are up to date. Do I have to use any specific IP location? It should work worldwide…..

Hey @offlinecashco support…. I’d like to add some funds on my notes, but the app does not work… I can scan the note offline, but I can’t deposit it….. plz help!!

@JustinCBram If the offline scan did not work I would recommend rebooting/removing phone case. Is this only for one note or all? If all notes, best guess is a network issue — e.g. VPN connection or a CDN blocking the connection.

@offlinecashco For some reason that function fails. I have tried 20+ times with many different notes. Only the “Offline Scan” function works.

@_t_o_o_r_a_j_ @lightcoin Good question! If you build the app yourself, you can verify that you are adding entropy to the local key on the note. The script never allows our key to spend the Bitcoin using just the server key — also verifiable with the client code.

@offlinecashco APK for an ungoogled Android phone would be welcomed. Couldn't find it on your github page.
