ICYMI: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has admitted the DOJ excluded images showing “death, physical abuse, or injury” from today’s Epstein files release. Let that sink in. The government is acknowledging graphic evidence exists and chose to withhold it, while redacting names tied to Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful associates, including Donald Trump. Yet, nothing has happened for months now.

While the entire way Missourians are going to be taxed is being decided the Capitol Police have the Missouri State Capitol locked while the @MissouriSenate is in session. The people who pay for the capitol are literally locked out while their senate whose salaries they pay is in session. I was told by the capitol police officer that “I am not allowed to unlock the door after hours”. How is it “after hours” if the senate is in session. Why are the elected officials so afraid of the public? The arrogance is astounding.

Montana — yes, deep red Montana — has a plan to effectively neuter Citizens United. No Supreme Court ruling or constitutional amendment needed. Here's how it works.

The paperback of THE LAST AMERICAN ROAD TRIP is out today. This is only a perfunctory announcement. My father died; I'm taking time off. But it's a good book: travelogue, history, memoir. If you like my newsletter, you'll like it. Now it's cheaper! us.macmillan.com/books/97812508…

Sen. John Kennedy: "The Democrats offered to open up everything but ICE. Ted and I said, 'Ok, let's accept their offer,' and then at the same time we would offer a bill for reconciliation where we don't need any Democratic votes to do whatever we wanted to do with ICE. That way we're out of the shutdown and DHS is back open. Thune submitted that to President Trump. He said, 'No. No deals with the Democrats.' So we're back to square one."

“No quarter” isn’t some wanna be tough guy line - it means something. An order to give no quarter would mean to take no prisoners and kill them instead. That would violate the law of armed conflict. It would be an illegal order. It would also put American service members at greater risk. Pete Hegseth should know better than to throw around terms like this.
Acyn@Acyn

Hegseth: No quarter, no mercy for our enemies. Yet some in the press just can't stop. More fake news from CNN reports that the Trump administration underestimated the Iran war's impact on the strait of hormuz. The sooner David Ellison takes over that network, the better.

Somehow Republicans won the presidency, House, and Senate without the SAVE Act. Yet somehow they will never win again without it? All this while advocates cannot produce any credible evidence of mass voter fraud that is supposedly making it impossible for Republicans to win.
Mike Lee@BasedMikeLee

Republicans will lose power—likely for a long time—if we don’t get SAVE America passed This shouldn’t be hard It is, but failure cannot be an option

Their dad just engaged Iran in a drone war. Before it began, they started investing heavily in a drone company that aims to do *huge* business with DoD. How do people not see that this family is betraying our country, soldiers, and economy? War profiteering right before our eyes?

HOW IS THIS NORMAL? Trump on the girls’ school in Minab: “The Tomahawk missile that destroyed it could have been anyone’s. A Tomahawk is very generic.” Facts: Tomahawk missiles are manufactured by RTX in Phoenix, Arizona. The US sells them to exactly four countries: the UK, Australia, Japan, and the Netherlands. None of them are at war with Iran. The White House already confirmed behind closed doors to Congress that the US targeted the area. CNN confirmed US responsibility. 165 girls aged 7-12 are dead. And the President of the United States just told the American people a Tomahawk missile is “very generic.” This is not a mistake. This is not confusion. This is a lie. On camera. About dead children.

Tim Miller is identifying something that deserves more traction than it is getting inside the larger Iran coverage. Kash Patel removed Iranian counter-intelligence specialists. The stated basis was their connection to the Trump classified documents case. Some of those classified documents detailed Iranian war plans. The removal happened immediately before a military escalation against Iran. Follow that chain slowly. The professionals fired for knowing about the files are among the professionals with the deepest operational knowledge of the adversary those files described. The loyalty test that produced their removal created an intelligence gap in the specific domain where the gap is most dangerous. And it happened on a timeline that suggests the score-settling did not pause to account for the war that was coming - or worse, that it did not need to. Non-partisan intelligence professionals are not a political convenience. They are the institutional memory that keeps decision-makers from operating blind inside an active conflict. Purging them for involvement in a legal process that touched documents about the current enemy is not personnel management. It is the definition of placing personal protection above collective defense. A republic does not get to call itself strong while punching holes in its own intelligence shield. The people flying the missions over Iran right now deserved better than the vendettas that preceded them.

Still trying to wrap my head around Kash firing a unit that specializes in Iranian counter-intel LAST WEEK -- when they knew war was coming -- because the agents were involved in the Trump classified docs case. ms.now/news/kash-pate…

Musk, worth $829 billion, owns X. Bezos, worth $234 billion, owns The Washington Post & Twitch. Zuckerberg, worth $231 billion, owns Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp. And now Larry Ellison, worth $202 billion, is about to control CNN, CBS, TikTok & HBO. Yes, this is oligarchy.

I see "I Stand With Trump" trending. Good for you. Here's how that translates. You stand with a pedophile. You stand with a rapist. You stand with a pathological liar. You stand with a sociopath. You stand with an adulterer. You stand with a fraud. You stand with a malignant narcissist. You stand with a wannabe dictator. You stand with the most delicate snowflake in history. You stand with a literal antichrist (anti everything Christ taught and stood for). #MAGACultMorons

Trump is calling on Iran’s civilians to “rise up” and take over their government for their safety and freedom, which is strange because back home US citizens are being shot, detained, or threatened simply for filming immigration agents and excercising their Constitutional rights

This is not conservatism. It’s gutter theatrics. The Republican Party once produced people who could argue constitutional limits, markets, federalism, and foreign policy without sounding like a comment section at 2 a.m. Now we have a sitting member of Congress recycling internet incest rumors like it’s statecraft. The “married her brother” smear has been investigated, litigated in the press, and endlessly debunked. Repeating it doesn’t make it true. It makes you unserious. If your political philosophy collapses into ancestry taunts and playground insinuations, you’re not defending Western civilization — you’re vandalizing it. Disagree with Ilhan Omar on policy? Fine. That’s politics. But if your sharpest weapon is xenophobic gossip, you’ve already admitted you can’t win on ideas. This isn’t strength. It’s decay wearing a flag pin.
Rep. Nancy Mace@RepNancyMace

So tell me, what was it like being married to your brother?
