Every one of the 5 BC Conservative leadership candidates have said and done really dumb Liberal things. I believe only Yuri Fulmer has actually admitted to it and stated that he regrets wrong Liberal/virtue-signalling positions he held.

So Kerry-Lynn Findlay voted to massively loosen Canada's immigration laws. Sorry, a grassroots Conservative hero she is not. You can support her, but the narrative her supporters have created as a Conservative maverick is wrong. She followed a lot of dumb trends overtime.

@KerryLynneFindl supported the Liberal Private motion M-44 to loosen immigration laws. It supported a 5 pillar approach by doing the following: Higher immigration levels including significantly raised permanent resident admissions. Gave immigration Minister increased flexibility to bring in more immigrants as needed. Broadened eligibility for immigration programs including adopting the NOC 2021 classification and widening the range of skill levels. New community and regional focused programs for immigration. Increase immigration infrastructure to accept more immigrants quicker.

The BC Conservative Party leadership race is disgusting. All candidates are ideological shapeshifters attacking each other's records while having the same ones. Even more so, they refuse to retract or admit fault for past leftist positions. The winner will be the best liar.

Here is at the time MP Randall Garrison thanking @KerryLynneFindl for voting for his tabled private member bill, bill c-279. This bill was to cement gender ideology in Canada. Her and 18 other conservative MPs voted for it in the second reading in 2012. Will KLF admit she made a mistake?

@wyatt_claypool She also first opposed the 2011 tabled bill by the NDP bill c-279 in first reading then voted for it along 18 other conservative MPs in second reading. This was one of Canada's first gender identity bills that started the lunacy we see today

I think the thing about Kerry-Lynn Findlay supporters that has gotten a bit obnoxious is the fact that they pretend she’s the perfect grassroots conservative when she’s very much played different characters at different times. During COVID she was a vaccine and lockdown hawk. Later, when the Freedom Convoy was popular, she flip-flopped against the aggressive push on of vaccines. She did a good thing in the 90s fighting the Musqueam in the Supreme Court, but between 2021 and 2024 she became a supporter of endless reconciliation. And now she’s not again. KLF used to be pro-Liberal “conversion therapy” ban and voter in favour of Bill C-6 (the precursor to C-4) despite it not being a whipped vote. And now, despite never apologizing for that vote or explaining why she got it wrong she is now against gender theory, and the sort of ban that she voted in favour of. I’m perfectly happy to see people evolve on issues, but what bothers many people is the hypocrisy of attacking people for things that your favourite candidate did and never apologized for. Nobody is perfect in this race and I don’t think anyone should pretend that they’re candidate is Mr. or Mrs. Principle.

@OhBoyItsKale is it LABELLED gender neutral or DISABLED? every place has Always had a Separate one stall washroom for people who have problems/ issues/ disability. If being born in the wrong body isnt a Disability, it dont know what is.

@BindyBlue Yeah it's messed up. I don't want boys who are starting puberty there with my 6 year old daughter. Also if a girl gets her first period she is forced into a unisex bathroom to deal with it? It's ridiculous.

@OhBoyItsKale Ucluelet got a new high school in 2023. My best friends daughter said the gender neutral bathrooms were just a makeout place for couples. My son never uses them. He walks home. I think he did say there were sex segregated bathrooms/change rooms in the gym area.
