Thank you to MLA Tony Luck for your endorsement and for joining me tonight in Merritt. What a great evening. We spent time helping people get verified to vote, answering thoughtful questions, and having honest conversations about the future of British Columbia and my Five-Point Premier’s Plan. I truly appreciated the energy in the room and the willingness of people to engage on the issues facing our province. I continue to believe that B.C. can be prosperous, hopeful, and confident again with the right leadership. Experience matters. Solutions matter. Most importantly, please make sure you are verified to vote before May 20th. For more information on my Five-Point Premier’s Plan, voter verification, joining the team, or making a donation, please visit iainblack.ca Let’s get B.C. back on track.

@CamdenHutchison I mean yes and no. 7/50 shouldn't be that difficult to hit.. If just that we collectively decided to be stupid Still the point remains.

LET'S GO! One of the worst MLAs ever elected, hoping the people of Vancouver-Quilchena use this democratic opportunity to get proper fair representation!

@Prominent_Bryan Grok's theories: - High-IQ black women rank highest in hypergamy, lower in interracial marraige, and also outnumber black men in higher education 2:1. - Low-IQ minorities - often new immigrants with high-value of marriage, and ranking lower in hypergamy.

“police arrest man who is bleeding to death because the stabber claimed he was racist” its literally impossible to satirize the UK anymore. even the most extreme, hamfisted memes are just real things that actually happen now

@AbuYahyaCA @Smirkley To me I think it's more than smaller men are just, well, smarter. So they are more successful in everything But agree this isn't modest here

@Smirkley I don't think <40% to 68% is particularly "modest". This suggests intelligence actually is valued among white men quite a bit. This may have more to do with how intelligence correlates with income, though.

If women’s stated preference for intelligence altered their marriage decisions, you’d see it in the data. Smarter men would be more likely to be married. For most groups it doesn’t show up at all. The one exception is white men, and it’s modest.

"Would you marry someone less intelligent than you?" Outright "no": Women: 45% Men: 8% Women are nearly 6x more likely to rule it out entirely. The single largest gender disparity in our deep-question dataset.
