BINI being so proud to be representing the Philippines is legitimately so groundbreaking, y’all don’t understand being Filipino-canadian, I STILL encounter pinoys here who are hesitant to admit they’re Filipino because we’ve been so beaten down

this is why representation matters!!! I went through the same thing in school and I may not have had it then, but I got to tell my non-filipino peers now about how it warms my heart that there are 8 women who look like me performing in big stages like coachella🥹 thank u bini!!

there are days where it’s still hard to feel proud to be filipino so far away from home, but BINI is a reminder to hold my head high thank you @bini_aiah for posting this 💌
