An AI Engineer is probably 80% Software Engineer and 20% AI. You can learn prompts, LangChain, MCP, RAG, and every new framework. But if you can't build reliable software, deploy it, debug it, and scale it, you're not an AI Engineer. You're just using AI tools. Recently started learning a lot about it, let me know if you are interested, will share good resources.
