I wanted to do a run of dark souls 3 on stream since it was its anniversary a couple days ago but I had just downloaded convergence and I wanna play it on my own so I really don’t wanna uninstall then reinstall convergence again lol

@Sandundetaik @TheSkullKidman Its weird because the p3p social links are indeed quite good but also I think P3s strengths lie in the character progression within the story itself, it makes sense that they did it, because these characters didnt have social links and also they were looking at it with new eyes

This isn't just a nintendo thing, there's a huge phenomenon of game devs refusing to make sequels that actually follow up on their predecessor's story (even for narrative heavy franchises) because every installment needs to be a potential "entry point"

@counting_cosmos I also feel like its fair game to just say you can throw in some mods n shit because I feel like if they made the decision to port FES instead of Portable theyd probably make those tweaks to it too (party control, skill inheritance tweaks etc._)

@counting_cosmos Portable is so strange because yeah it has some QoL changes but its also not too hard to just play FES with some tweaks that throw in those QoL changes. Portable is great for a 2nd playthrough for the alt route but everything else is a complete downgrade
