My observation in Jhb North. The white people have left the suburbs historically known as exclusive rich / white neighborhoods. Foreigners occupied those prime spaces while South Africans languish in poverty at the villages and townships. The country is gone guys

@RTDeMarais @TwinkTheory It genuinely freaked me out there. The people I interacted with felt non-human in some sense. Like a great imitation of a human. Even the ones I worked with felt kinda awkward. I genuinely felt a sigh of relief when I left ( i was only there for a week)

@TwinkTheory I spent a few weeks there. Left with the feeling that something was off. So perfect but at the same time depressing. Crossed the border to Germany and (even with all their issues) felt like a relief. Later learned Switzerland has one of the highest suicide rates. Odd place.
