Demons pull off huge win by a 54-44 count, and improve to 4-0 on the season. La Cueva drops to 1-1. If these two teams should meet in the state tournament, it will be a dogfight.

Santa Fe High improves to 3-0 after a dominating 66-40 win over ATC to win the Bobby Rodriguez Capital City Tournament title. The Demons will get another big test against Abq. La Cueva Tuesday night at home.

Demons end the half with Juan Ortiz getting fouled on a 45-footer at the buzzer and he hits 2 of 3 FTs to give Santa Fe High a 37-19 lead at the break. Turner cooled off and "only" had seven points in the quarter. He's up to 21 for the game.
