#ProjectAfrica Day 137 Clutch snuffed it. Got towed by a random geezer passing by. He proceeded to tow us into a parked truck. Smashed the van up pretty sweet. Took 22 hours to get to a mechanic. Mechanic said it’ll take 2 weeks to get her back on road. In Brazzaville now working out plan of action. Update soon🫡

#ProjectAfrica Day 91: 47.6km Having it good and proper. Body is slowly getting hammered back into its rightful position of chief stomper of all things asphalt related. It doesn’t like it but IT DOESNT HAVE A CHOICE. I AM THE CAPTAIN NOW🫡 In less aggressive news I’m feeling good inbetween the ears atm. I’ve learnt so much in the last few months. Been tested in more ways than I could of even imagined and trying to appreciate the process of bulldozing my way through it as much as possible. Closing in on one of the biggest geographical challenges of the mission. The Congo rainforest. Humidity through the roof. Sweltering heat. Some of the most diverse wildlife on the planet. Some of the finest sweet nothings getting dropped in embassies, but we made it to Windhoek🇳🇦 Where we FINALLY got new visas for DRC & Republic of Congo🇨🇩🇨🇬 Big delay to the mission but we are setting off back to Luanda🇦🇴 where I will continue running from the exact spot I stopped.
