@thealexbear Yeah, I reckon a lot are using the same supplier who either didn't harden the material, or chose an inferior alloy in the first place. I'll add, the camshaft was fucked as well, and that's absolutely on Kent. Got a custom grind from Piper with solid lifters now, much happier.

Last customer car ever gets picked up this morning. Another car recomissioned and repaired after 8 years off the road. I love TVRs but im probably going to have a year or two avoiding them before I consider buying one again. They represent a particularly tough chapter. Certainly the end of my time working on cars for money!

fun fact yop (the delicious fermented yogurt drink) bottles fucking EXPLODE if you leave them out too long. I discovered this at 6am, and got to enjoy cleaning delicious fermented yogurt drink off the walls of the toilet after waking up to a hissing bottle
