On June 28, the OCC Customer Service Counter & Court Clerks is moving to the first floor of the Will Rogers Building at 2401 N. Lincoln Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73105. Online services offered by the Customer Service Counter & Court Clerks offices will continue to be provided.

In March, the OCC honored employees for years of service (55+ years total); performed 9,295 well inspections; received a UCR award for improved enforcement rate; conducted active shooter training; hosted a town hall; & assisted first responders during spring severe weather.

The OCC’s Transportation Division received recognition from the Unified Carrier Registration (UCR). 3 awards were given in the yearly awards presentation at the UCR Board Meeting last week. Oklahoma placed in the top 3 in each category out of 41 states that participate in UCR.

In the year 2025, the OCC Transportation Division screened over 5.6 million trucks as they entered the state through various scales. Of those trucks that were screened, only 2% required a visit into our Port of Entry lobby. Those are some impressive numbers!

We thank Chief Irwin for his extraordinary service to our nation and are proud to have his continued leadership here at the OCC.

While retiring from military service, Irwin will continue serving the people of Oklahoma as the Policy Advisor for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

Love County POE Transportation Officers helped with traffic control on I-35 when severe storms caused three semis to overturn last night. We are thankful for partnerships with local law enforcement that allow us to serve the people of Oklahoma!

The OCC is aware of the incident in Canadian County and has personnel on site who are closely monitoring the situation. We will continue to assess developments and take appropriate action as necessary.

Oklahoma Corporation Commission Transportation Officers assisted federal law enforcement with capturing an armed fugitive driving a commercial vehicle through our state last week. Thank you to our officers for keeping Oklahoma, and the United States, safe!

On Wednesday, 4 Transportation Officers assisted Love County Sheriff's Office in locating and detaining an individual who fled a traffic stop. We are proud to assist local law enforcement using MOUs to ensure the safety of Oklahomans!

OCC inspectors remain in the area, ensuring environmental impacts are remediated and the well is put back in compliance.

Oil & Gas Conservation Division inspectors are in the area monitoring the well blowout in Grady County near Blanchard. They are in contact with the well operator to ensure the well is brought back into compliance & any environmental impacts are remediated as quickly as possible.

The individual was transported to the local hospital. We are thankful our Enforcement Officers step up to help fellow Oklahomans!

Chief Scott Baze from our Transportation Division was able to assist on a call where a barn collapsed on a 73 year old. Since he was already out checking on our Hugo facility, he was able to respond quickly, thanks to an MOU & close relationships with local law enforcement.
