Important! Assessments might provide interesting data, but if they don’t readily impact instructional decision-making, it might be better to use that time to just teach instead. FYI we use Acadience Math but cut NIF in Prep and cut the Concepts and Applications tests in G2 to 6.

It’s interesting to note that Acadience ORF alone was more accurate than the Acadience composite score. Schools who have adopted Acadience/DIBELS are increasingly wedded to the composite/all subtest, so this is valuable data. I’m a fan of the bare minimum/biggest bang for buck.
