Tonight, we reached an agreement with the Department of War to deploy our models in their classified network. In all of our interactions, the DoW displayed a deep respect for safety and a desire to partner to achieve the best possible outcome. AI safety and wide distribution of benefits are the core of our mission. Two of our most important safety principles are prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use of force, including for autonomous weapon systems. The DoW agrees with these principles, reflects them in law and policy, and we put them into our agreement. We also will build technical safeguards to ensure our models behave as they should, which the DoW also wanted. We will deploy FDEs to help with our models and to ensure their safety, we will deploy on cloud networks only. We are asking the DoW to offer these same terms to all AI companies, which in our opinion we think everyone should be willing to accept. We have expressed our strong desire to see things de-escalate away from legal and governmental actions and towards reasonable agreements. We remain committed to serve all of humanity as best we can. The world is a complicated, messy, and sometimes dangerous place.

today I felt the need to take it a bit slower it’s almost 12:00PM and didn’t start working yet at the end of the week we’ll be traveling, and we’ll be tired in that regard, we’ll have some chill days ahead so far Chiang Mai has been great we know one thing for sure: we want to get back here next year 🤩

5 things that will keep your agency alive (even when it feels impossible): 1. Sending more emails (sounds simple but most people overcomplicate). 2. Knowing your numbers like the back of your hand. 3. Keeping runway in the business instead of dividending out. 4. Build systems that work without you from Day 1, not when you realize you need to 5. Do the same with posting content.

How to go from solopreneur to agency. First you must overcome some limiting beliefs. Let go of the idea that: • no one can do it better than you • hiring someone to help is cheating • clients will hire someone else • no one will want to work for you • quality of work will go down • it will cost too much Ready? 1. Charge enough so that you can afford to get help 2. Hire someone to do the most time consuming work 3. Train them how 4. Show them your formula 5. Set clear expectations 6. Be patient (you didn’t learn this overnight) 7. Coach/art direct them to close skill gap 8. Gradually increase their score of work 9. Praise and acknowledge good work & habits 10. Repeat as necessary Eventually you will make more money, have more free time, do higher quality work, foster a creative culture and feel more accomplished. Use the money to hire people better than you. Use the free time to rest, exercise, travel, and learn new skills. #gopro #futurpro
