Dear all Obidients worldwide,
Kindly deregister your membership with the ADC with immediate effect.
Our contract with them has come to an end!
We move ✊✊✊✊
Fellow Nigerians, good morning.
I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you.
Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances.
We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal.
More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism.
We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power.
Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise.
Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them.
However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building.
Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated.
And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions.
There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline?
Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
My supporters don’t engage in f!ghts on social media. The f!ght is between Atiku and Peter Obi’s people. Obi’s people are abus!ng me but I don’t reply them. The Obidients insist on ‘Obi or nothing,’ while Atiku’s supporters say ‘Atiku or nothing.’ But the question is, do they have the numbers?
~ Rotimi Amaechi says
Atiku wanted to play a smart game, but it backfired. He knew that if he could get Obi to contest the primaries with him, he will dollarize the primaries and clinch on the ticket. He also knew that by then, Obi will be trapped to supporting him, because he will be barred from participating in any other Primary election pursuance to the Electoral Act. But what he didn't know is that anything his witch doctor told him, Obi and Kwankwaso witch doctors also heard. Let everyone carry their cross.
EFFURUN SHOOTING: POLICE VOW JUSTICE FOR THE VICTIM AS OFFICER FACES DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE
The Nigeria Police Force condemns the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Mene Ogidi on April 26, 2026, in Effurun, Delta State.
In a statement, the Force says preliminary findings show officers from the Effurun Area Command act on intelligence from Benin Motor Park along the Warri–Sapele Expressway, where the suspect is held by a transport union while attempting to waybill a parcel containing a Beretta pistol and four rounds of ammunition.
While taking him into custody, the team leader, ASP Nuhu Usman, allegedly discharges his firearm unlawfully, killing the suspect.
Police authorities ordered the immediate transfer of the officer and his team to Force Headquarters, Abuja, to face the Force Disciplinary Committee and possible prosecution.
The Inspector-General of Police extends condolences to the victim’s family, Assures that justice will be served, and urges calm as investigations continue.
He reiterates the Force’s zero-tolerance stance on extrajudicial actions and abuse of authority.
Similarly, the Police Service Commission condemns the killing, describing it as a violation of Nigerian laws, the 1999 Constitution (as amended), and international humanitarian standards.
The Commission commends the Delta State Commissioner of Police for initiating disciplinary measures, including the suspension and interdiction of the officers involved pending investigation.
It also extends condolences to the bereaved family and urges calm as the process of justice unfolds.
Let the Nigerian Police @PoliceNG raise the minimum recruitment requirement for officers from WAEC to HND and a Bachelor's degree, and watch rascality among officers reduce to the bare minimum.
If you inquire thoroughly, the officer who shot that guy dead is likely an illiterate who only completed SSCE with F9 or didn’t attend any school.
You can’t continue recruiting touts, ex-convicts, and retired cult members into the police and expect them to have good morals.
It’s not done anywhere in the world.
@NGRSenate@NigeriaGov
I can’t imagine how many people these b@st&rd called police have killed like this. If not for the person who recorded this video, nobody would have heard or seen anything about it🤦🏻♂️😡
How do you send a woman and her three kids out at night just because a DNA test says they’re not yours?
If you’re married under the Act, that’s a cr!me forceful eviction of your spouse can land you in serious trouble, you will eat two portions for two years.
Yes, the DNA result is painful. But the right step is legal: file for divorce and seek compensation if necessary.
Throwing them out at night is unlawful and d@ngerous. If anything happens to them, you’ll be held responsible.
You’re not the first man to raise children that aren’t biologically his.
Why not calm down, wait till morning, and involve her family instead of acting in anger?
Hurt is valid but that kind of action isn’t.
@cal_mhe_iva Before people usually have talents to become a celebrity...but now all you need is some indecent clothes..shake bumbum and a blue tick on x..
Kwankwaso will deliver Kano + Borno + Sokoto + Jigawa + Kebbi
El Rufai will deliver Kaduna + FCT
Peter Obi will deliver the East and parts of South South + Lagos by close margins.
This should be enough to defeat Tinubu in a fair election comes 2027
