.@spencerpratt's mayoral run is a blatant grift. He's weaponizing the wildfires for sympathy while chasing taxpayer-funded perks, including the mayor's mansion. When questions surfaced about his eligibility after moving to his parents' Santa Barbara County home, he took out an SBA loan, bought an Airstream trailer, and had it craned onto his burned Pacific Palisades lot just to manufacture LA residency for his campaign. Why should anyone trust him to manage a city when he couldn't manage his own checkbook? He and Heidi torched $10 million on her failed music career, $4,000 bottles of wine, and a million-dollar crystal collection before nearly declaring bankruptcy. Now he wants access to City Hall and all the perks that come with it?

A rideshare passenger was held hostage for 8 hours during a tense armed standoff with police in a wealthy Beverly Hills neighborhood. Footage from the scene shows Beverly Hills police and Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies surrounding the gray pickup truck as both the suspect and rideshare passenger remained inside. The armed suspect, who was reportedly wanted for the attempted murder of a peace officer, led authorities on a chase before barricading himself inside the vehicle with the trapped rider. The passenger was able to safely exit the car. At the time the standoff came to an end, authorities reportedly had not made any arrests.

UPDATE: The hostage situation continues in Beverly Hills.
For nearly 8 hours, an armed man wanted for the attempted murder of a peace officer has been barricaded inside a pickup truck with a hostage.
Authorities have not confirmed the relationship between the suspect and hostage, but reports indicate the suspect may be a rideshare driver and the hostage his passenger.

She’s right, if you go to places in LA, you’ll notice almost all the bathrooms have locks on them or number combination locks
