Troops Rescue 157 Civilians, Foil ISWAP Abduction in Borno
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have rescued no fewer than 157 civilians abducted by suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists along the Buratai–Kamuya road in Borno State.
Sources said the incident occurred around 2:50 p.m. on March 30 when troops of 135 Special Forces Battalion, deployed at Echo 1, Dutse Kura, came under attack while on escort duty. During the engagement, it was discovered that terrorists had kidnapped about 17 vehicles carrying an estimated 157 civilians and were moving them into the bush.
Troops immediately deployed, repelled the attack, and pursued the fleeing insurgents, who abandoned the vehicles and victims. During the pursuit, the Quick Response Force encountered an IED along the Bula Zarma–Mangari axis; one soldier sustained severe injuries and was evacuated to Biu for treatment.
The rescued victims men, women, and children were moved to Buratai town for reunification with their families. Troops continue to dominate the area.

The image has hallmarks of AI generation: flawless skin texture with no visible pores or imperfections, perfectly symmetrical lighting and shadows, and an overly polished studio pose that feels engineered rather than candid. No major glitches like distorted hands, but the "too perfect" quality matches common outputs from tools like Midjourney. In a romance scam context, this is a red flag—tell your uncle to cut contact and report the profile right away.

My uncle is getting sca@mm£d by this lady on facebook, and he’s completely convinced she’s real. I need help proving she’s fake before he loses all his money. This picture looks way too perfect and high-quality to be genuine.

Maybe I should even apply to be a Notary Public. One Lagos SAN’s Abuja office once wanted to charge 10% of the value of my UK property to witness my signature on a mortgage application form. I offered them N5k, but they said they don’t take that kind of money.
I left and went to another firm in Wuse 2. Once I said I was a lawyer, they happily did it for me for free. I later went back and gave them a bottle of Hennessy VSOP.

I want to share something that happened to me some months ago.
So I have this community brother. Not really close, but someone I know around.
One day, out of nowhere, he called me. I don’t even have his number saved, so I was surprised. I picked and said, “Ah bro, how far?” He said he was fine, then immediately he said:
“Guy, I need your help. Somebody don buy my job around me. I want you to pack your guys come. Any amount, I go pay. I just want make una sit down while I deal with this guy.”
At that point I was confused.
So I asked him calmly, “Wait, what really happened?”
He said he lost his phone some months back. So because of that, he logged his email into someone else’s phone so he could be receiving alerts and all that.
I said okay… makes sense.
Then I asked him:
“So the person withdraw your money?”
He said no.
I asked again:
“So what exactly did the person do?”
He now said when he finally got another phone after like 4–5 months, he tried to log back into his email, but it wasn’t going through. Errors everywhere. He felt like maybe the email had been tampered with or something.
So I asked again:
“You pay money to create the email?”
He said no.
“You fit open another one?”
He said yes.
“You fit go bank update your email?”
He said yes.
So I paused…
Then I asked him:
“So what exactly are we going to fight for?”
That was when he said the real thing on his mind:
“I just want make the guy suffer first.”
That statement changed everything for me.
I told him straight:
“No problem, I go come. I go bring my guys. But when we come, we go first allow that same guy beat you. Then my guys go beat you join in my presence.”
He was shocked.
He said, “Ah bro, no be like that nah…”
I told him:
“No. Make you understand say we no be tools. You no go just wake up because of anger, then carry people go fight something that doesn’t even make sense.”
But guess what?? The same guy whom he wanted to beat them was the same guy who paid for his wife CS yesterday.
It is what it is sha.

When it comes to animals, you cannot tell me which parts to tweet about and which parts to avoid. Some tweets/clips will educate, some will entertain, some will be harsh, some will be cute, while some will be dirty. It's a total package subscription. Animals are not guided by your moral compass. Woke up to some unnecessary drama today! 🤦♂️
Our neighbor decided he wanted to dig a soakaway and somehow thought that meant he could just take a piece of our land.
My mom shut that down immediately, suggesting he keep it in front of his own house. Next thing, he’s claiming he "knows the law" and telling us stories about how he used to own the land before we bought it. Abeg, who that one help? 😂
I didn’t even argue. I just pulled out the survey plan, verified the boundaries, and called my bricklayer. The fence is going up now. I might have missed a day at the farm, but securing the home front is worth it!

Silence returned, and then I moved toward the injured to see what help i could offer, and that’s when I saw him from a distance, his lower jaw was gone and only his tongue was left. A DShK had done the damage.
He died later that evening.
The next morning, his wife gave birth.

Dust rises. Engines roar. Operational vehicles tear through the Northeast terrain at top speed not racing, responding. Somewhere, a community is under attack. Somewhere, lives hang in the balance.
Inside, soldiers grip their rifles, hearts steady, minds fixed on the objective. Every second counts. Every bump in the road is a reminder: delay means death.
This is the Nigerian soldier moving faster than fear, arriving before hope runs out.
