Through Democrats’ DHS shutdown, they have solidified their stance as the party of open borders and defunding law enforcement. Today, the Senate sent our bill back to the House to quickly reopen DHS and fund these integral national security agencies.

Voter ID is common sense, and the majority of Americans support it. This afternoon, Democrats will have the chance to show the American people which side they are on.

In this week’s edition of “pretending to legislate,” the @SenateGOP has decided to blatantly lie to the American people on the Save America (again). Btw they are about to go on Recess.

The Senate is sidestepping the SAVE America Act. During the last reconciliation, the parliamentarian stripped out a significant amount. Now the Senate is looking to play the blame game with the parliamentarian. Under reconciliation, you can’t legislate policy, meaning you CANNOT include the Save America Act. I will be a NO on reconciliation. Stop sidestepping America, @LeaderJohnThune. They’re literally trying everything they can to get out of voting for Voter ID and it is disgusting.

@RepLuna They are trying to trick us into not primary them. It won't work. We need to clear out Congress, specifically senators. They nolonger serve the people. Maybe never did.

I talked to multiple Senators today. They know the floor debate is for show and SAVE America is going NOWHERE in the Senate. Ask yourselves why Voter ID, that over 80% of Americans support, is being blocked? Thune this is not a paid influencer campaign. AMERICA: If your Senators do not work for you, it is time to find someone else willing to do the job.

The Senate is taking up the SAVE America Act this week but that does not mean they are serious about actually getting it signed into law. @LeaderJohnThune knows he does not have the 60 votes needed to pass it and also won’t invoke the standing filibuster, so he is doing this for messaging. The Senate plans to leave debate open for as long as Senators continue to debate (probably a couple of days). They are doing this to try and get around having to invoke the standing filibuster but I won’t let them fool you. These two things are not the same! If the standing filibuster is not invoked the SAVE America Act will fail.

The mask came off live on the air last night. The official position of Democrats is free health care for ILLEGAL immigrants, courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer. Tell your friends.

It’s been three weeks and counting on Democrats’ second shutdown this fiscal year alone. Tens of thousands of DHS employees are going without pay, and critical DHS priorities are going unfunded. Will this be the week that Democrats actually get serious?
