I’ve seen a decent amount of Hemingway hate over the years which made me feel sad and alienated. The Sun Also Rises is probably one of my favorite books.

I’ve read four Hemingway novels: The Old Man and the Sea To Have and Have Not A Farewell to Arms The Sun Also Rises I also started For Whom the Bell Tolls but didn’t finish. Hemingway is a good writer in my opinion and my favorite novel of those I’ve read is Sun.

For Whom the Bell Tolls in my opinion did not have a spectacular opening though; it’s not like I think he has the Midas touch.
