@SenMcCormickPA Because state issued IDs aren’t enough according to this law. States are responsible for elections under the constitution.

The SAVE America Act is simple: only US citizens should vote in US elections. Proof of citizenship to register. Photo ID to vote. Clean voter rolls. Enforce the law. Basic. Reasonable. Common sense. So why are Democrats opposing a bill voters overwhelmingly support?

@PolitiBunny If I have a state real ID that cost me money and is issued by the state that handles the election why should I need to spend five days and $20 more for the feds who constitutionally shouldn’t have a voice

For shits and giggles, I decided to see just how hard it would be to replace my birth certificate, Social Security card, AND my marriage license, since Democrats think women are too stupid to figure it out. Here's how it went: 1. Birth certificate: Contacted the health department of the county where I was born. They OVERNIGHTED a certified copy to me the next day - total cost, $14. 2. SS Card: Contacted Social Security on their site. They asked if I was sure I needed the card, since I 'won't likely be asked for it.' I went ahead and got it - took five business days to arrive - total cost, $0. 3. Marriage License: Went to the 'vital docs' site of the county where we were hitched. Filled everything out online, arrived in three days - total cost, $5. It cost less than $20 to obtain all three certified/legal documents, and it took less than five business days to receive them. Note: if I had lived where I was born or married, it would have been a day. Tops. Anyone telling you this is too hard or unfair is lying and hiding the real reason they want to stop Voter ID. I know you guys knew that already... lol

@Sadie_NC Seems the objection isn’t to voter ID but what that ID must be. A state issued ID keeps elections in state hands as Constitution outlines. Passport is federal and how many 76 year olds have birth certificate without PAYING for copy? Easy fix to get the act passed

CNN just fact-checked Chuck Schumer live on air and wrecked him. Schumer claimed the SAVE Act “appeals to only the most fringe element of the MAGA base.” CNN instantly put up the numbers: White Americans: 85% support voter ID Latino Americans: 82% Black Americans: 76% The anchor straight-up said: “Voter ID is NOT controversial in this country. Not by party. Not by race. The vast majority of Americans support it.” Schumer just called 76% of Black Americans, 82% of Latinos, and 85% of Whites “fringe MAGA.” They don’t oppose voter ID because it’s unpopular. They oppose it because it works. Time to nuke the filibuster and pass the SAVE Act.

Science Camp 2026 was a blast! We teamed up with Discovery Education for standards-driven, hands-on learning tailored to our school’s needs. Our students explored erosion vs. weathering and the phases of the moon. It was a great day of diving into science! #YourBestChoiceMDCPS

🚨 BREAKING: President Biden just took the stage in Boston for St. Patrick’s Day and delivered a clear, forceful reminder about what’s at stake for American democracy. “Whatever my legacy may be, I hope it will be said that I have never stopped striving for a cause of democracy… History says there’s no hope on this side of the grave. But then, once in a lifetime, a long forward tidal wave of justice can rise up and hope and history can rhyme… we believe in our democracy. We know it’s worth fighting for.” This is what leadership actually looks like. Who else misses 46?

I found No.1 to be true becoming a Baldrige examiner. By using the criteria to examine health care and non profits I became a much more effective leader in education. No question.

How to see opportunities others miss: 1) Study a totally different field, then return to the original problem. Apply insights from other domains. 2) Invert the problem. Try to achieve the opposite. 3) Find ways to engage with hyper-creative people. Their thinking will rub off.

@BeschlossDC I was on the sidewalk between classes at school and a fellow teacher said, “bet you are glad you weren’t accepted. The shuttle exploded.” Sobering for sure. I was one of the many applicants.

@SenRandPaul Normally I would agree ,but the way our key leaders refer to gLf the voting population as scum and others as garbage invites inappropriate speech. Where is “the line?”

Freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can say anything, anywhere, without consequences. It protects you from government punishment—not from being fired. If you work for someone, you’re expected to show professionalism and decorum. Yelling at the President crosses that line, and I’d fire anyone who did it.
