This is completely BS and this narrative honestly drives me crazy. VCs don’t care if you’re a man or a woman. They care about backing companies that can return their fund. We need to stop pushing the idea that women can’t raise because they’re women. It’s simply not true and it’s incredibly disempowering. Plenty of women raise. I’m a female, solo, non-technical founder, and I raised from Sequoia and Khosla. Not a single investor I pitched cared that I was a woman. The real issue is much simpler: raising money requires projecting extreme conviction. You have to inspire trust, radiate confidence, and sell a vision so big it almost sounds delusional. And women are often less aggressive, less assertive, less confident, and less comfortable projecting that level of conviction. You can "dress like a man", but if you "pitch like a woman", you still won’t raise. Telling women the system is stacked against them doesn’t empower them. It just creates BS excuses and lowers the bar.

Looks like @cluely is almost fully out of money. they have removed all affiliates other than @im_roy_lee and @neelyweely23. Those badges cost $50 a month. I think they're spending too much on engineers since most of them have the original $400k pay package. They now pay 40% less

I feel like startups are using the term “physical AI” so they avoid the fact that they have to SHIP ACTUAL ROBOTS to have an actual business.

Claude is hinge and Chatgpt is tinder.

The bulge bracket early career VCs are fleeing to series C AI unicorns

If you're smart, the worst thing you can possibly do is go to an ivy league school or work for a top firm These things make you dependent on the system - you lose your ability to think critically Arrogance and left brained skills with no creativity or mental flexibility

We’ve seen this movie before. When the dust settles, a lot of patriotic founders will point to this exact moment as the match that lit the fire in them. 🇺🇸
