for the tactical time control element to feel important I think I need either really brutal enemy AI or swarms to manage
the constantly changing controls feels fine, but curious if things were more chaotic

a small combat concept • slay the spire style card deck supplies primary actions • move and engage enemies as in zelda • control of flow of time provides tactical control

@keegabit current thought is cultivating a flow state / groove by jumping / attacking / sliding at the right time, and in an elegant way to avoid hitting obstacles. Need to prototype it and feel it out

@oldmanofthefire The stakes seem pretty low currently if you can just jump back to the next layer. Any plans on how you’ll implement a losing state, or limit them?
