It processing capacity is approximately 11.6 million tonnes of petroleum products per year. The facility is estimated to supply around 40% of the fuel consumed in Moscow and Moscow Oblast.

This brutal murder of a Russian opposition artist in Poland is yet another alarming case of political violence against Kremlin critics abroad. The circumstances — including the use of a Belarusian taxi and prior threats — strongly suggest involvement of Russian or Belarusian special services. Such killings aim to intimidate the Russian diaspora and opposition figures living in exile.

To understand the scale of today’s Russian crime against humanity’s historical heritage: it is the equivalent of bombing St. Peter’s Basilica in a war of conquest against Italy, or Notre-Dame de Paris against France, Westminster Abbey against Britain, or Aachen Cathedral.
