A Plea to Tottenham Fans 📣 The community, togetherness and excitement fostered by a few like-minded Tottenham fans coming together at the end of last week has been so heartwarming. The dedication so many have shown to do literally anything they can to drag our Club to safety all while holding down jobs and family life away from N17 has been so incredibly inspiring. And the reception this drive has been met with in the last week - by the Club, the players and you, the Tottenham Hotspur faithful - has been greater than we could ever have imagined. I could write all day about how special the pre-match scenes will be tomorrow. Or about how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to work with so many driven and talented people. But you’ve read enough about that, and you will absolutely love what’s to come tomorrow. The point of this particular gobbet of the twittersphere is simply to ask of you all one thing: Do not let the noise drop when the gates shut behind that team coach. Or at all. We can all recall many occasions where the pre-match atmosphere in Tottenham has been electric; all for a stagnant first half or an early opposition goal to stifle it, causing groans and silence to fall across the new ground. This cannot happen tomorrow. It cannot. You are all needed for every second of the remainder of this season, irrespective of scoreline or circumstance. The alternative is too grim to consider. Please join us in the South Stand concourse after the coach meet tomorrow. Continue the songs, take that noise up another level. And most importantly of all, take it to your seat. If we start well: sing. If we start flat: sing. If we score: sing. If we concede: sing louder. All this work, all this energy… it cannot be for nothing if the game isn’t going how we want. Put your words into action - sing up, stay up. Let’s fight together. Enjoy tomorrow, you all deserve it. Come On You Spurs. All together, always 🤍

MY MESSAGE TO SPURS FANS FOR SUNDAY This is not about the owners, their lack of ambition with anything to do with the word football, whilst they maintain the ability to promote the money-making best stadium in the world. This is not about the questionable choice of management staff, or the frustration of selling our top scorer at the start of the transfer window and denying the team a replacement. This is not about having one of the best players of all time rise through the ranks, only to be treated with a lack of ambition from those above him, or sacking the only manager in 17 years who brought us success. This is not even about the fan you have a row with each week over the starting 11, or the fan who watches the game through his phone rather than enjoying the moments that come and go. This is not about the world media wanting us to be relegated just so they can make their money through content, or the long list of previous managers who are very quick to point out where Tudor is going wrong. This is not about being for or against a drummer in the crowd, or whether the trumpet player is a welcome addition to the atmosphere or just a nuisance. And this is not about the broken promises, the years of pain culminating in the best day of our lives, only for the pain to return in abundance shortly after. This is about the badge, the glory, the Lane; old and new, the fans, the football club's integrity, the motto. Everyone else is a custodian of this great football club. The fans and the cockerel we wear with pride on our chests remain the one constant; win, lose or draw. This is about showing those players we believe in them to save us from the unthinkable, and if they believe in us too then they can hold their heads high, knowing they gave us fans all we ask for: 100% commitment and to play the Tottenham way. So on sunday, please do all you can to get to the ground early. Wave those flags, sing those songs. Forget everything that needs to change about this club and remember that the problems will come and go - but the fans will never, ever go away. Kevin Danso must start every game from now on. Even if that means Micky moving to left-back. The only time we look solid and organised is when he is playing.

Leeds and Forest have both been dreadful in recent weeks but they have still managed to pick up points. That’s two teams fighting. Spurs have enough quality to get themselves out of this mess with two results if they actually dig deep.
