My wife and I have worked in the NHS and have done so for over 25 years. Grace was a medical student and attended lectures at Queens Medical Centre, one day she would have qualified and started her chosen profession in Nottingham, treating the people of Nottingham, working in the NHS hospitals there. Understandably, my opinions of the force are poor. However, I do recognise that there are many officers within it who are doing a good job. And they should be recognised. The force will never improve and regain trust if that doesn’t happen. HOWEVER; I’d ask this podcast to be the first of its kind to actually acknowledge the failures of its recent history; discuss them openly and show the public how they are addressing them in moving forwards.
