End of Week 4. More excuses. More denial. More failure. More evasion. Still no accountability. More proof of why this inquiry was so needed. One month down and three and a half to go. #nottinghaminquiry 💚💛

And @OliverPridmore @nat_fahy @nottslive you should be proud. Without exception you have ALL been the very best of what news and reporting should be. Shame on @nottspolice for ALL of their conduct… #Nottinghaminquiry 💚💛

I’ve had countless moments where I’ve been so proud to work as part of the @nottslive team and today was another. Lots of media were invited to this utterly ridiculous Nottinghamshire Police briefing, including national outlets, but we were the only ones to call it out.

Could this get any worse on a daily basis. The police tries to stop local journalists from reporting on the Nottingham murders. They are the only people even attempting to seek justice and protect the public. They should be praised not threatened.

A significant moment in the Nottingham attacks inquiry. Nottinghamshire Police's Chief Constable has admitted it was a "mistake" to complain about @nottslive to @IpsoNews after we reported about being made to sign an NDA. @nat_fahy @JoshHartley70 nottinghampost.com/news/nottingha…

@CotswoldGirls @English_TutorUK @OliverPridmore There was an unduly lenient sentence review. Essentially checking the judge issued within his parameters. What’s happening now is outside of that. But wait and see! A great deal more to come..

A woman rings Nottinghamshire Police after the Nottingham attacks - saying she lived with Valdo Calocane in 2013. She says there was an incident involving "violence and an animal" in Wales. Police never questioned her. nottinghampost.com/news/nottingha…

Week 4. Day 4. Criminal justice system, psychiatrists, decisions and key timelines began to emerge today. I can’t say it’s looking any better than the past three and a half weeks. Will get much more challenging I suspect! ….but we have buckled in for the duration. We have (retired) Chief Constable Kate Meynell (@nottspolice) tomorrow. #nottinghaminquiry 💚💛

Also we believe validation will follow with the appalling conduct of the CPS, more about the Police investigation and the NHS, that allowed this monster to get away with murder. No stone will be left unturned…. #nottinghaminquiry 💚😬

@drsanjoykumar He failed to investigate a key witness who would have given invaluable information about Calocane’s background and mental health a DECADE earlier. Not just courage he lacked Sanjoy. Just awful…..

Courage and lack of. Det Supt Sanders knew this was a case of murder. His team rebelled as they found out that murder was not going to be perused. There were divisions between the ranks and real discord as all officers wanted a charge of murder. You lacked courage, on the day.

They were ‘burnt out’!!!! What from being told to withhold key information and communication to us? Had so many people and organisations done their jobs properly (for years) Barney would still be with us and none of these poor exhausted souls would ever have had to meet us. I understand that it must be a difficult role, and not one that I would want to do, but nothing is as bad as being the parent that gets that phone call. I assure you. 💔

One of most delicate, fraught, impactful relationships I observe is between FLO and newly devastated families. I have seen a growing trend of senior leaders writing to families to subtly point out that they are upsetting the FLOs/ exhausting them. That this aspect of service is…
