@3PIAPC You all deserve a medal for lasting this long. Patch you don’t need to worry about him stealing your stint in The Crossbar next season as they have won’t have enough time.
@3PIAPC Thanks for everything you do, best city podcast even when times have been poor this season it’s always been a great season. Whether that be the Matt Withers Sam Morzy appreciation club or Sam Bell being your adopted child. Can’t wait for Blamey’s end of season quiz 🤣🤣
@3PIAPC 6.57 - glad we ended the season with a win. Thanks Roy for bringing some stability back however couldn’t watch a Roy team all season. If Stoke were better it could have been Norwich again. Last game of the season why didn’t he give others a go. Interesting summer ahead.
The end of season feel at times but a win is a win… a goal at the start and a goal at the end… now the next chapter of Bristol City can begin… average player rating?
@BristolCity@fever_uk I am quiet worried about Roy’s end of season report. Roy who should we keep in the current team. Burgzorg 100% 🫣 that would be worrying. I feel disappointed we haven’t been able to see much of George, where this time last year he was crowned young player of the season
@3PIAPC Looking forward to the Sam Bell fan club tomorrow. Defo keeping him next season and didn't think I would have said this at the start of the season
@ollywillcox@BristolCity@fever_uk I feel sorry for earthy to struber said in a interview he was gutted when earthy wasn’t there the start of the season then never played him was really a waste of time bring him back feel for him. Think they bought him back hoping the fans would shut up about a decent striker
@RealBristolBoy One thing I have noticed with Roy, he is too late to react with subs. You could tell as soon as they scored we needed to make changes and we wait another 15 mins to make any. That said we should have put them to bed in the first half, Twine had to finish his chance.
First half decent second half second rate hoofball.
It's almost like Roy said at HT "Well played lads. Now stop that & start booting it long. That way, we'll create nothing, give Norwich the ball & be under real pressure"
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ #BristolCity
Very much a game of two halves… pretty much bossed the first half after taking an early lead… Norwich came out with a point to prove and got 3… average player rating predictions?
@3PIAPC 5.92 - great to see Roy in still some stability in the team but we need to mix it up. Riis can’t start against Norwich. Horvat / Earthy and Bell have to start next game. Borges looking more comfortable at the back. 4 more pre season games to go let’s enjoy these with Radek!!!
A testimonial feel at times today but another point on the board as Roy goes unbeaten in 3… good to see Tanner, McCrorie and almost Williams back… fingers crossed for Bird… some goalless draws can be exciting… this one really wasnt… average player rating predictions?
@RealBristolBoy@BristolCity Yes, i go with my son and yes it would be amazing to see city winning week in and week out. However as fan you support them in the good and bad times. For me it’s about creating memories with my son and continuing the next generation of the family supporting this club
@3PIAPC 6.47 - Vitek unreal again, we need to do anything we can to keep him. Nice to see a win home since Jan. Need to make subs sooner as theirs made an impact however a win is a win. 5 more wins and the plays offs could still be on 😂😂😂
16060 days since Roy last managed a City side at the Gate… now 2 in 2 for Roy… Sheff U huffed and puffed forcing Vitek to make some important saves but Sykes took his chance on his 149th club appearance… City into the top half! Average player rating predictions…
@3PIAPC 4.07 - I think that was worse than the Derby game. We have turned into sideways and backwards fc. Slow, lack of creativity, players have given up, Strubbers tactics over the last month or two needs to be questioned. I think we have got enough points but form is shocking.
Very poor today… flip flops are out in some cases… alot of hit and hope… Earthy provided some drive for 20 minutes but too many passengers after a green shoot of improvement at Boro… great dummy from Burgzorg… average player rating predictions?
@3PIAPC 3.5. Don’t get why Earthy and Bell are collecting splinters in their arse. They need to be given the chance. I’d start them both Saturday. I may regret driving 600 miles to Boro and back in 1 day Saturday unless we actually perform.
The jigsaw puzzle of player and position selection remains unsolved… back to basics of playing players in their correct position and not shoe horning for me… average player rating predictions…
@3PIAPC 4.37 - dreadful, no quality in the final third. Poor defending for both goals. Strubs looks lost, subs making no impact. Damage limitation now, need to maintain some confidence going into next season as this relegation form. Tommy to score a hat-trick on the weekend to top it off.
@KaiserBCFC_ Agree with this, I do think though discussion making has been poor last month. Whilst he lost Anis and Zak we have had a strong enough squad to beat most of the teams we have played but he has made the wrong decisions.
I’ve been very supportive of this guy and do blame the administration of the club for ripping the heart out of the team in January and leaving him with fuck all to work with…
That being said.
Today at end of the 1st half I turned and said:
“He’s got to bring Randell off, he’s jumped out of 2 challenges now because he’s on a yellow.”
He didn’t and we ended up with a 2nd yellow that the Ref was itching to give him.
Then the substitutions.
The 3 players who were a threat to Coventry were Armstrong, Sykes and Horvat.
Riis was zero threat.
He looked like what he is, a lumbering slow donkey.
And who does he bring off?
The 3 best players and leave us with an attack of Riis, Burgzorg and Twine…
I like Struber a lot but he has serious blame for today.
#BristolCity
@RealBristolBoy It's more frustrating as Cov were there for the taking. How Pring gets outjumped for the 1st goal. Him and Borge for the second goal was shocking. As soon as we took Horvat off we lost all the creativity. Randall brain
dead in the middle. No need when on a yellow.
Easy to overreact however we'll play worse than that & draw or win.
Problem again chance creation, crossing & final ball.
Two mistakes for both goals involving weak defending.
Not sure about Randell's first yellow so I'll watch it back. At first glance it could have looked two footed??
Subs little impact & WTF did he take Tommi off for?
Bell instead of Riis?
