The system was not really built with immigrants in mind. We spoke to immigrants across the UK and the same challenges kept coming up again and again. Here are 5 struggles almost every new immigrant faces. Let us know which slides resonated most with you. #UK #ImmigrantsInUK

Moving to a new country is one of the biggest decisions anyone can make. You arrive with hope, plans, and a future in mind, but very quickly, you realise something important.

@NigeriaStories This is the result of a failed system. The government has done absolutely nothing to improve the educational sector over the years. Beyond the fact that most young people need to do better, the government and the bodies in charge of education are widely responsible for this.

Do Northerners who are currently destroying their region in the name of the so-called End Bad Governance protest know that the Number Five demand of the protesters is the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu? In essence, you are destroying your region to force President Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu, a man who has called for the destruction of the North, and said the most horrible things about Arewa? Meanwhile, in Abia state, where Nnamdi Kanu is from, they are not protesting. How can the great Arewa people allow themselves to be so gaslighted by Peter Obi and Omoyele Sowore? #TableShaker

Please assume I am lying and fact-check me: This photo was taken on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Upton Park market in London by Ola Ajai, a female Briton of Nigerian descent, who is also a faculty member at Plymouth University. You can see the tubers of yam cut into two and sometimes even three or four. Why? Because yams are expensive, both in Nigeria, Ghana, and Europe. It is not everyone who can afford a whole tuber at once. Also, it is sometimes done to show that the yam is not rotten inside. In the past, many people buy tubers of yam, take them home and find that they are rotten and inedible inside, though they look fine on the outside. As a result, some traders will cut open the yams to show they are in good condition. Do not allow Emergency Lovers of Nigeria, who still harbour a grudge over the results of the #NigerianElections2023, to gaslight you into believing that things are suddenly bad in Nigeria because people cut yams for sale for various reasons. This is not a new practice; and it even happened before I was born and will still occur after we leave this planet. That is why Yeshua (Jesus) said: "The poor you will always have with you."-Matthew 26:11. #TableShaker

"I hope for the sake of the nation that he doesn’t express interest in the next election because for me as a leader, if there was any proof that he was unfit to lead that country, it’s in the conduct which he encouraged among his followers."-Professor Wole Soyinka. Is this not what turned me against Peter Obi? Trolling me on social media. Threatening to kill my child. Leaking my address online. Coming to my home. Spreading lies that I asked Peter Obi for money. If not for their behaviour, I would never have turned against Obi. And because of them, I will never stop exposing him. May God never allow such a fellow and his odious movement to control the affairs of this country. In Yeshua's Name, I pray. #TableShaker

Peter Obi made a colossal mistake in coming out publicly against the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. Firstly, two weeks ago, the South-South Governors gathered in Yenagoa to endorse the Coastal Highway that will pass through and expand the economies of Lagos, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom and Cross-River states directly. Then, today, the Obong of Calabar, Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu, V, celebrated the project and called on the Tinubu administration to complete it speedily. The people of the Southwest and South-South are excited about the project. Their Governors support it. Their traditional rulers are rooting for it. And then, you, Peter Obi oppose it. Because you know what is good for us, better than ourselves? You say it is "unnecessary" since there are bad roads elsewhere. But you, Peter Obi, did not say the Second Niger Bridge was unnecessary because there were dilapidated bridges elsewhere, and there was already an existing Niger Bridge. Oil from the South-South can fund the Second Niger Bridge, the 187 Kilometre Abuja-Kaduna Railway, and the Kano to Maradi Railway. But when it comes to financing a coastal highway to the same South-South, Peter Obi says it is 'unnecessary'. Okay. Any party that makes the mistake of fielding Peter Obi as their Presidential or Vice Presidential nominee, and anybody that errs by making him their running mate, whether Waziri Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso, or Nasir El-Rufai, can kiss Southwest and South-South votes goodbye. You will not even get the Constitutionally required 25%. #TableShaker

@renoomokri Reno, you are either obsessed with PO, or you've been silently given the task (directly or indirectly) to drag his name through the mud. I hope you were well-paid.

I saw a post by one of Peter Obi's errand boys alleging that Babatunde Fashola was the best Governor of Lagos State, yet he did not build any school during his eight year tenure. This is another desperate lie by Peter Obi and his Obidient movement to deflect from the fact that though he built a $50 million brewery in Anambra, which is now loss making, Peter Obi did not initiate, start, complete and commission any school during his eight-year tenure as Anambra Governor. Mr. Fashola initiated, started, completed and commissioned several schools, of which the most prominent is the Lagos Energy Academy, which he commissioned in 2014, because it is the only such institution of its kind in Nigeria. The Lagos State Government wholly owns it and the school provides certificate programs in electrical and electrification technology. Attached are two photos. In the first, Mr. Fashola can be seen commissioning the school. In the second, the school is celebrating new academic intakes. Since the commissioning of the school in 2014, it has graduated over 8,000 technicians. Even beyond Fashola, Local Government and Local Council Development Area Chairmen in Lagos also built multiple schools. My challenge still stands. Please just name one school initiated, started, completed and commissioned by Peter Obi during the eight years he was Governor of Anambra and win ₦11,400,000, the present equivalent of $10,000. #TableShaker

This is the first time in my entire life that I am seeing people who came 2nd & 3rd in an exam both claiming they took first and then agreeing to protest together to the examiner to record that both of them took first, yet they are not seeing the contradiction in their actions 🙄
