The Nigerian Air Force carried out a precision airstrike on a confirmed terrorist enclave and logistics hub situated near the abandoned village of Jilli in Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State. The successful operation, carried out on 11 April 2026, was the result of sustained ISR missions conducted over the Bindul–Jilli axis. This area has long been recognized as a key movement corridor and gathering point for ISWAP fighters. Post-strike assessments indicate that the operation achieved a high level of accuracy, successfully destroying the targeted logistics site. Numerous terrorists were neutralized during the strike, and several of their vehicles and mounted equipment were destroyed. Remaining fighters were seen fleeing the area in different directions following the attack.
