INJUSTICE 🇳🇬⚠️ Joseph Phillip Nanmwa, a National Youth Service Corps member known as E-MONEY from Langtang North, Plateau State, has reportedly been held by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Abuja for over 65 days without being charged. Phillip, who taught Mathematics and Physics at the International Model Science Academy, was arrested after organizing private coaching for scholarship exams, which the school owner said was unauthorized. A fellow detainee, Chimezie Otuojor, claimed NSCDC officials demanded ₦1.3 million plus ₦120,000 as a “commandant’s charge” for his release. Phillip’s health is reportedly deteriorating, and he lacks adequate food. Otuojor added that unlawful detentions and extortion are common at the FCT NSCDC command. Authorities are urged to investigate and secure his release.
