@plenkeit2 @TerrillCharming i work for a vacation rental company. we use 3rd party vendors for cleaning our properties and what they charge us is what we charge the guest. also, the fee can depend on the size of the house. we only have one property with a similar cleaning fee, it has 7 bedrooms & a pool.

@TerrillCharming I’ve noticed some places seem to use a high cleaning fee as a way to make their nightly rate appear lower, assuming as a way to try to trick people into thinking they’re getting a deal, while still getting the same total rent for the place
